A regional development project combining performance and technology
On the Seine-Nord Europe Canal, Razel-Bec will build one of the 6 locks that will punctuate the path of the boats: the Montmacq lock. This lock will accommodate convoys 185 m long and 11.40 m wide, with a draught of 3.00 m (or draught) and a deadweight of 4,400 tonnes.
The works include: the construction of the civil engineering of the lock and its pumping station, the equipment of the lock (gates, aqueduct valves and their operating devices, instrumentation and local control equipment, etc.) and the equipment of the pumping station (pumps, etc.). Work is scheduled to start in the 2nd quarter of 2024.
