Chartrons square fully redeveloped in Bordeaux

As part of the redevelopment of the Chartrons Market Square in Bordeaux, the Razel-Bec Midi-Pyrénées agency teams contributed to a project that completely transformed this public space in favour of pedestrians. A flush-level design was implemented to improve circulation and provide easier access to the central pavilion.

The works included road reconstruction and the installation of paving stones, some of which were reclaimed and reused, while maintaining access to and activity for the surrounding businesses throughout the construction period. The redevelopment has given Chartrons Square a more accessible, legible and welcoming character, enhancing everyday life in the neighbourhood.
