A key bridge for the bypass
As part of the development of the Vayrac bypass in the Lot department, teams from Razel-Bec’s Midi-Pyrénées agency are constructing a 31.85-meter reinforced concrete solid slab bridge, consisting of three spans, to restore continuity to the RD 116. This key project is overseen by the Lot Department, acting as both the contracting authority and project manager.
The project stands out for its deep foundations using 800 mm diameter piles and a deck cast entirely in situ. The teams also managed the integration of utility networks, safety barriers, architectural elements, and protective screens for bats.
