On September 15, the tunnel boring machine Claude Jordane completed the excavation of the second cadereau on the Cadereaux de Nîmes construction site.
Carried out for Nîmes Métropole by a 100% Fayat consortium, the project aims to protect the city from flooding through two stormwater evacuation tunnels. In the presence of numerous elected officials, this milestone marks a major step forward. Once completed, the cadereaux will allow rainwater to be evacuated ten times faster.
