The Grand Paris Express line 18
Constructing a viaduct with precast segments linking Massy-Palaiseau to the future CEA Saint-Aubin overhead station. It will eventually call at the Palaiseau, Orsay - Gif and CEA Saint-Aubin stations, just outside the Razel-Bec headquarters. This emblematic structure will wind its way through the new Saclay campus, crossing the RN118 with the viaduct's tallest piers, at 29.50 linear metres high.
Site highlights
All the supports were made of self-compacting concrete on the piers. This made the concrete easier to place and gave a more harmonious architectural appearance. A low-cement formula was used for its production, which reduced greenhouse gas emissions.
