A strategic structure in the urban development of Plaine Commune, the Franchissement Urbain Pleyel now links the Plaine Saint-Denis and Pleyel districts, which were previously separated by the railway lines. The footbridge provides urban and landscape continuity all the way to the banks of the Seine, as well as intermodality between the ‘Stade de France - Saint-Denis’ RER D station and the metro, with the Grand Paris Express ‘Saint-Denis Pleyel’ station.
Razel-Bec's teams will have worked for 3 years on this project to build the civil engineering structures, abutments, piers, retaining walls and access ramps, while managing the logistics at the railway interfaces.
