The Bâtie footbridge installed by Moulin BTP
This 8-hour operation involved the installation of a footbridge dedicated to soft mobility (cyclists, pedestrians, etc.) over the A41 motorway at Saint-Ismier, between Grenoble and Chambéry.
The structure is 76 m long and 4 m wide, and weighed 76 t at the time of lifting. It took 3 weeks of on-site assembly to prepare the footbridge for lifting. This large-scale project has been in the pipeline for 1.5 years, and for the occasion one of France's largest lattice crawler cranes, with a jib of 72 m, was present on the night of installation.
